Former German chancellor Gerhard Schroeder gets it right!

In a MosNews article, German chancellor Gerhard Schroeder was quoted as saying, “We nick tax evaders as well. However, we do not have Siberia at our disposal.” Of course the lawyer of Khodorkovsky was very upset that their publicity campaign to the world public was so easily discredited, and that their lies, and help from the US press, and US "journalists" will not influence the mass's, to their propoganda, and the truth will be known!

The lawyer responded, “Mr. Schroeder’s attempts to introduce humor to the plight of a man who is illegally imprisoned in the Russian gulag represents the most obscene of insults,” Amsterdam was quoted as saying by PRNewswire.

I find this humorous, Khodorkovsky had a trial, and there was overwhelming evidence against him.
