Kremlin blames Berezovsky in Litvinenko death

MosNEWS reports that the Russian Lawmakers are blaming Boris Berezovsky, just as I predicted earlier in this blog.

Legislators seconded a top Putin aide’s suggestion that Litvinenko’s death in a London hospital Thursday was part of a plot against Russia and claimed that Berezovsky, a major critic whose asylum in Britain has enraged the Kremlin, was involved in the killing.

I think it makes sense. Berezovsky was quoted, not speculation, that he is planning a coup on the Russian government. He is power hungry. Of course I have no real evidence, just as the Russian government has yet to produce. Speculation is speculation. Here are the facts:

Litvinenko was the head of security for Berezovsky during the 90's, when Berezovksy was involved in the government. Litvinenko fled to Britain along with Berezovsky. I have heard from my sources that Berezovsky purchased a $600,000 house/apartment for Litvinenko, meaning most likely that Litvinenko was well off. Litvinenko critized the Kremlin, saying that the FSB was behind the blasts in Moscow apartments, along with Berezovsky. I think Berezovsky had either Litvinenko, or another KGB/FSB agent as his main witness to their claim, and I watched a show about it and I thought they actually had some good evidence. Getting back to my theory that I said earlier, here are some quotes:

From MOSNEWS, same article as linked above: The remarks echoed Sergei Yastrzhembsky, Putin’s chief envoy to the European Union, who named no names but suggested to reporters in Helsinki that someone was killing government critics to discredit the Kremlin. “I am far from being a champion of conspiracy theory. But it looks like we are facing a well-orchestrated campaign or a plan to consistently discredit Russia and its leader,” he said.

CNN, "We hate Putin. The man is loathsome. But he is not stupid enough to have ordered the death of Litvinenko in such a slow and public way," an influential Russian emigre told Reuters, speaking on condition of anonymity.

Last month Politkovskaya, a fierce critic of Putin, was shot dead in her Moscow apartment block on the president's birthday. The murder overshadowed Putin's German visit days later.

Who did it? I don't know, only time will tell as more facts come out, and I'm sure that Great Britain will do a superb job on invistigating this case, because they have a ton on the line as well, because they don't want to be known as not being able to protect their refugee's/citizens.
